May 2, 2014 - Help kick off 10 days of Ka‘u Coffee Festival activities with an official event: Pa‘ina & Open House at the historic Pahala Plantation House (corner of Maile and Pikake Streets in Pahala). 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free, refreshments offered. Donations accepted for Miss Ka’u Coffee Scholarship fund. Music, hula with Halau Hula O Leionalani, refreshments and house tours. Hosted by Pahala Plantation Cottages, Ka‘u Chamber of Commerce and The Ka‘u Calendar newspaper. For more details call (808) 928-9811.
